A screen that cannot be fitted to the bay is not a candidate, whatever its specification looks like on paper. - Distinguish bay width from usable width inside the uprights. A 900 mm bay rarely gives 900 mm of usable rail once end clearance is allowed for. - Outline dimension is the mechanical footprint; active area is the image. The difference is bezel plus housing, and it is the number that decides whether the unit fouls the upright. - Brightness figures are configuration-specific. Record whether the reading was taken on a bare panel or on the complete unit with cover glass, and at what ambient temperature. - Sealed cut edges are not optional in chilled and fresh-food aisles. Moisture ingress is the most common field failure in low-cost bar displays and it does not appear in a dry showroom trial. - Acceptance thresholds belong to your store format. Set them per deployment and write down the conditions they apply to.
