LH series open frame monitors are designed for embedded applications requiring a cost-effective display solution. Featuring VGA/DVI/HDMI input options, these monitors are ideal for kiosks, gaming machines, and industrial control panels.
LD series keeps the LH mechanical platform but adds an optional PCAP touch overlay, IPS/VA wide-viewing-angle panels, and long-lifecycle component sourcing. Open frame monitors are bare-chassis LCD displays engineered to be built into kiosks, gaming machines, ATMs, and industrial equipment rather than to sit on a desk. AplusLCD supplies two families: the cost-effective LH series for display-only indoor machines, and the LD series, which shares the same measured brightness envelope but adds optional PCAP touch, IPS/VA wide viewing angles, and long-lifecycle component sourcing. Neither is a sunlight-readable line. Both are built on industrial-grade components rated for 24/7 operation and offer VESA mounting with flexible VGA/DVI/HDMI inputs — no MOQ, with 1 pc samples accepted.
Both families measure 250-800 nits across 6.5"-19", so brightness is not the deciding factor between them. The LH series is the cost-effective workhorse for display-only indoor equipment — gaming machines, ATMs, self-service kiosks, POS terminals, and industrial control panels where ambient light is normal room lighting.
Specify the LD series when the machine is interactive or must stay in service for years: it adds optional PCAP multi-touch, IPS/VA panels with wider off-axis viewing, and long-lifecycle component sourcing for projects that cannot absorb a mid-life redesign. Where semi-outdoor or sunlit placement is a hard requirement, choose a purpose-built high brightness series instead — LD is not a sunlight-readable line.
Because there is no outer casing, the monitor mates directly with your equipment: standard VESA patterns (75×75 mm or 100×100 mm) or custom brackets locate the panel, front OSD buttons stay accessible through a bezel opening, and 12V DC power (on many models) plus VGA/DVI/HDMI signals arrive through whatever opening your cabinet provides. Depth stays minimal so the unit fits behind thin kiosk facades, and the -20°C to +70°C operating range covers unconditioned spaces such as arcade floors, transit shelters, and warehouse terminals.
