About Stretched LCD Display
AplusLCD stretched bar LCD displays feature ultra-wide aspect ratios from 16:3 to 16:4.8 — purpose-built for installations where vertical space is limited but horizontal impact matters. Unlike standard monitors, these stretched displays deliver Full HD horizontal resolution (1920×360 or 1920×578) in a slim bar form factor that fits perfectly on retail shelving edges, above doors and windows in transportation vehicles, and in queue management systems. With brightness levels from 700 to 1000 nits, they remain clearly visible even in bright retail and transit environments. Optional PCAP multi-touch transforms shelf-edge displays into interactive product information points. Available in standard 24.6" and 28.0" sizes with custom dimensions available for volume OEM projects. Formerly part of our Specialty Displays range, stretched bar LCDs now have their own dedicated category to better serve this growing market segment.
