The Challenge
French Client needed in-vehicle displays for Korean buses, where the mounting space above the windshield measured only 1100×225mm — a long, narrow footprint that ruled out every standard monitor on the market.
The challenge went well beyond the dimensions: the display had to survive the constant vibration and wide temperature swings of daily bus service, run directly from the vehicle's 24V electrical system, and stay bright and readable for passengers — all within a package size no standard panel manufacturer offered.
02 — Our Solution
Our Solution
We custom-built a 42.9" stretched LCD monitor with a 1098.8×225mm outline dimension, matched to the 1100×225mm bus mounting space with the clearance required for vibration and thermal expansion.
The monitor was reinforced for the vehicle environment — shock-tested enclosure and a wide-temperature panel — and fitted with a customized DC 24V power interface for direct connection to the bus electrical system without an external inverter.

The Result
Passengers were highly satisfied with the in-vehicle displays, with the bright, high-contrast image remaining clearly readable even on sunny days.
The positive reception prompted the client to expand the advertising content schedule across their fleet, generating additional recurring revenue from the same hardware investment.
